How to Make Fig Leaf Tea

Fig Leaves Have Many Medicinal Properties

Fig leaves are widely known for their healing properties. They can be used in the treatment of bronchitis, warts, liver cirrhosis, hypertension, skin problems and sores.
But the news is that the fig leaves are also very good for diabetes. Many people consume a fig leaf juice in the morning, right after waking up, instead of breakfast.

You can also boil the fig leaves in water and drink them as a tea!

For preparing this tea you need to take 2 teaspoons of dried fig leaves and pour a cup (200 ml) of boiling water over them. Cover the pot and leave to stay like that for about 10-15 minutes. Then you need to strain this mixture. As for the consummation, you need to drink a cup of this tea, every morning. This tea will help you in the fight against diabetes.

You can also make a whole pot using 1/4 cup of leaves.  After the tea is finished, strain and drink one cup before breakfast.  Place the rest in the refrigerator and save for later in the day.  You may reheat the tea.
